The project, designed by Estudio Pacífica, features contemporary architecture with clean lines and simple volumes, well-suited to the residential setting of the new AURA neighborhood. The house combines a reinforced concrete structure with autoclave-cured aerated concrete (HCCA) exterior walls and reinforced concrete roofs that define the main spaces. The interior spaces flow seamlessly into the outdoor areas through large openings, integrating the garden, the pergola, and the barbecue area as natural extensions of the living spaces. The proposal reflects the studio’s design criteria, prioritizing thermal comfort, natural lighting, functionality, and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. Low-maintenance materials and finishes with a simple, contemporary aesthetic are used, in keeping with the residential character of the home and the specific conditions of the coastal environment in Punta del Este.
